Junior News
Junior year is a key year for making concrete plans for post-secondary life. As the 11th grade counselor, I look forward to working with all 11th grade students as they explore options for after high school and grow as individuals. To make an appointment with me, stop by the main office or select the button above that says "Schedule an Appointment with Mrs. Barbara."
Once school starts, I begin meeting individually with 11th grade students. In these junior meetings, I talk to each student about his or her graduation progress as well as plans for life after high school. Students are invited to make an appointment at their earliest convenience.
For those who are interested, please see the sections below for more information about the SAT and other post-secondary planning resources.
Starting October 1, 2016, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will become available for students entering college in the Fall of 2017. Current juniors who plan on partaking in some form of post-secondary education are encouraged to complete the FAFSA as soon as possible after October 1st of their senior year.
